I graduated from University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. That seems like a life time ago! I worked in various private practices, including a stint overseas in Canada (but I think I did more snowboarding than physio-ing!).  When I returned home I spent a few years working at the Women's and Children's hospital here in Adelaide.  I have always loved working with children.

In 2012 I became a Mother for the first time and my world changed. Like many, I experienced a huge awakening and transformation.  I started my CranioSacral Therapy (CST) training in 2014 and for the first time in my working career felt like I had come home.  I am deeply passionate about this beautiful modality and have been studying it ongoing since.  I have seen the profound changes in my own children and family. I am constantly amazed by the power of human touch and connection. 
 

In 2015 we welcomed our second child.  A few years into our parenting journey with a toddler and baby, and it was safe to say I was struggling.  I was exhausted, sleep deprived, trying to meet everyones needs (except my own) and really wondered if this was what parenting was meant to feel like. I needed help but felt completely alone and wondered how everyone else seemed to manage all the things.

I remember googling "Sleep Help" and came across Hand in Hand parenting.  We did a course, implemented the tools and our family life started to shift.  I started to shift. I felt more joy. Laughter returned. Behaviour changed (mine mostly, but kids as well).  I went on to become an instructor in 2017 to deepen my understanding of the paradigm and tools.
